That depends on what matters to you. Right now the C7 Z06 and C7 ZR1 are far more powerful than the C8, and there’s no aftermarket support for the C8. Aren’t Teslas expensive? Doesn’t it make sense to put chargers in places where their owners live? I'll bet that if Compton suddenly became a hotbed of Tesla ownership, superchargers would spontaneously appear. 

Don’t forget the gas they used driving an extra 15 minutes round trip to get to Costco for gas, and the extra deposits inside their car's engine from using grocery store gas instead of better quality gas from the stations they drove past.

Nobody complained about the Acura RSX or Integra type R not having power. All Toyota has to do is put a decent inline 4 in it.  Jeez, they could even just buy K24s from Honda... The boxer engine in these cars is a lot worse than other similar displacement, similar power engines.
