Same here. I'll give my employer the ability to remotely wipe my phone as soon as they give me the ability to remotely wipe the Exchange servers. I read the fine print every time they offer this, and I always reject it. I take my laptop with me instead.

Me too. I can’t understand why people buy SUVs. Every time I drive one I’m uncomfortable with the physics involved. It’s like trying to sit on a high bar stool while paddling a canoe - ready to tip over at any moment.

I’ve rented two Sentras this year and was amazed by how nice they are inside. The Corolla I rented was junk by comparison. And to be honest, the cheap tires on the Sentra had good grip too. The real problem is the powertrain. The CVT is adequate but the engine moos like an excited cow whenever I hit the gas, while

GM knows how to build EVs, yes. But that doesn't mean they know how to build an EV drivetrain that's comparable to Tesla's in terms of performance, range, or technical specs. GM's EVs are weak sauce. Hopefully they'll get it figured out in time for the BEV C8, because I'm waiting to buy one.

It’s the bell curve in action. No matter how ugly a vehicle is, there are always some people at the far end of the curve who think it’s beautiful. I have friends who thought the Aztec was amazing, bought one, and constantly raved about it. I have a friend who bought a PT Cruiser. People bought Dodge Journeys. There

Counterpoint: that thing is as wild as a Countach back when those were new. People will buy them to be seen in. Maybe not enough people to make money, but still a lot of people. It looks like nothing in the world and screams cyberpunk future. I want one because it's ugly, not in spite of it. And let's be honest,

I don't understand the concept. Technology grows faster and smaller each year. Why not build Stadia as a capability run from our phones, cast by bluetooth to any device? There's no need to send data back and forth to the cloud.

For what it’s worth, the extra swear word emphasis successfully caused my mental filter to recognize that this was a worthwhile post to read. Otherwise I would have automatically scrolled past because it was about a RAV4.

I think you have it backwards. The Toyobarus look and drive like the same car with different badging. The Supra looks nothing like the Z4, and seems to have its own handling personality too.

This makes the value of telecommunications and a free press so very clear. If the internet went down here, we’d be stuck watching cable news or studying text printed on dead trees. The horror!

I usually go the other way. Larger diameter to please the eye and wider wheel for a wider tire. I get lots more grip but acceleration suffers. I've felt the difference in both of my vettes.

I think the unzip might have been in preparation for something being shoved up their ...

I intentionally choose my employers based on exactly this. I won't live in a city and I won't drive into one except on an infrequent weekend if I have to.

There’s always a few people on here eager to paint the best transportation solution humanity has ever invented (based on conscious choice by an overwhelming majority) as somehow a bad thing that should be gotten rid of by discouraging it.

The interior is crap. Shameless ripoff of bad design from Tesla.

Hood and headlights are better looking than the actual Mustang...

Once the federal discounts and typical marketing campaign cash start flowing, these will be available in the low 30s which is smack in the middle of normal new car territory these days. I’d buy this instead of any Ford or GM suv and it will be cheaper than most of them after enough time passes for the hype to subside.

CTX700DN. It’s light, the mass is down low, and the seat is too. It’s super easy to ride because of the DCT. Plus it's cheap. I found one used with 1400 miles on it for under $5k.

No way. Try city riding in Atlanta where there's no such thing as a horizontal surface. The DCT makes hills a non issue, and makes parking and stop-and-go traffic easy as pie. My CTX700DN was a revelation from the first minute I rode it. Some days I think I should have a clutch, but then I think of everything I did in

The two experiences are completely different. I’ve owned 3 Vettes, an S2000, a RX-8, and I’ve driven various Miatas. But getting on a bike is totally alien by comparison.
