I’d suggest also considering a used Camaro ZL1, used Nissan GT-R, or a used Mustang GT350. In my mind, cars need at least 100hp per $10k spent.
I have those same thoughts and then I remember that I like being able to add lots more power to my cars, and I don't like having to worry about the car spinning when I'm enjoying a corner.
Or just resuscitate the old S2000 platform, drop the current Civic Type R motor in, and call it a day?
I have to admit that for a minute I was really curious to learn what a Viler is...
Are you me? Spot on, mate.
The C8 is a great example of doing this right. GM kept things quiet and nobody was sure it was real until the big reveal.
Actually the C8 has horrid design elements, a fugly rear end, tons of understeer and less grip/handling than the C7 by some measures. It’s a one trick pony - fast launches from a standstill or out of corners. Between the two I'd lean toward the Supra if it wasn't somehow even uglier and less roomy inside.
I was behind a black one on the road the other day and it was striking. A truly unique design, low and wide and full of style. Notice that I did not say it was attractive... Just intriguing.
Holy crap that’s the best looking C8 pic I’ve seen yet.
I see you’ve forgotten about Dieselgate already... And if you want electric that removes Honda... And aside from the i3, BMW isn’t known for hypermiling... So this means that you think Ford is the best automaker for the environment? And Tesla isn't even worth considering?
For most people, sure. For me it's about the joy and excitement of brutal acceleration.
That’s odd. I would have expected the opposite with such a big power disparity.
And a flat plane crank V8 with a manual isn't much fun in traffic as a DD. A supercharged V8 with a dual clutch may be suboptimal on track, but it's great for the street.
The Plastic Fantastic agrees. Some dumbass teenage girl sideswiped my stingray a few weeks ago and it left no damage to the body panels.
OK now what am I supposed to do? I already promised COTD to the big eyeball cat and now you show up with Georgia Satellites?
OMG that was awesome
I hope so. And I hope that Harley and its customers go with them.
Don’t forget the crazy FWD GT-R prototype race car driven by a graduate of their online racing academy...
Kids in the 90s also knew they needed to buy stocks and invest for retirement. And just like all the kids you apparently don't know now, they wanted sports cars and bought them as soon as they could. I'm sure there are kids somewhere fantasizing about appreciating assets and retirement, but the ones I know all want to…
