Actually the C8 has horrid design elements, a fugly rear end, tons of understeer and less grip/handling than the C7 by some measures. It’s a one trick pony - fast launches from a standstill or out of corners. Between the two I'd lean toward the Supra if it wasn't somehow even uglier and less roomy inside.

I was behind a black one on the road the other day and it was striking. A truly unique design, low and wide and full of style. Notice that I did not say it was attractive... Just intriguing.

Holy crap that’s the best looking C8 pic I’ve seen yet.

I see you’ve forgotten about Dieselgate already... And if you want electric that removes Honda... And aside from the i3, BMW isn’t known for hypermiling... So this means that you think Ford is the best automaker for the environment? And Tesla isn't even worth considering?

For most people, sure. For me it's about the joy and excitement of brutal acceleration.

That’s odd. I would have expected the opposite with such a big power disparity.

And a flat plane crank V8 with a manual isn't much fun in traffic as a DD. A supercharged V8 with a dual clutch may be suboptimal on track, but it's great for the street.

The Plastic Fantastic agrees. Some dumbass teenage girl sideswiped my stingray a few weeks ago and it left no damage to the body panels.

OK now what am I supposed to do? I already promised COTD to the big eyeball cat and now you show up with Georgia Satellites?

OMG that was awesome

I hope so. And I hope that Harley and its customers go with them.

Don’t forget the crazy FWD GT-R prototype race car driven by a graduate of their online racing academy...

Kids in the 90s also knew they needed to buy stocks and invest for retirement. And just like all the kids you apparently don't know now, they wanted sports cars and bought them as soon as they could. I'm sure there are kids somewhere fantasizing about appreciating assets and retirement, but the ones I know all want to

Or anything else that you might do in your free time after work, like shopping or movies or errands or kids’ soccer... People don’t generally just go straight from home to work and back and then sit idle until the following day.

Same here. Electric drivetrains are amazing and I’m just waiting for someone to put one in a car that looks good, has a HUD or speedometer where it belongs, and can handle.

These movies are for both children and adults. And in the US, everyone is too prude to allow children to see sex on screen. It’s that simple. The Puritans f*cked us all mentally, and now we don’t get to watch each other f*ck on screen. If Hollywood was outside America, there would be 1/4 the violence and 4x the

In terms of visibility, yes. Aside from that, the C7 is an improvement in every way.

I use the full performance of mine often. Weekends and evenings are tons of fun, plus road trips. And track days are cheap. But you’re right, it’s too wide and visibility creates real challenges even just changing lanes. I keep looking for a car with similar performance and good visibility but I can’t find one.

Been there, done that, and it's not even close. My 421whp SC'd S2000 was inferior to my C5Z in every way except interior quality. And my C7 is so much better it's not even funny.

I bought the 2nd cheapest C5 on Cargurus two years ago. FRC, 150K miles, for $10K. It’s a perfect second car. I DD it one or two days a week and I take it on road trips often. (I’m on a road trip this weekend with it.) Plus I track it and it’s a ton of fun. This is my FRC in between sessions at Road America a few
