This is a welcome feature. I also love the happy medium with Google Now. I don’t use Google maps during my 30 minute commute, but on occasion, I do get Google Now alerts to accidents on my route. Invaluable!
The same moron who’s commute can take them anywhere from 40-120 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Or celebrating his own personal achievement and acting like they were going to lap their opponent when it was 17-7.
Andy Janovich was awesome last night. First career carry and he rips off a somewhat long touchdown run. What a great moment. He also threw some huge blocks. Hopefully this will be the start of a return to prominence of the FB position in the NFL (well other than that guy from San Francisco who punches the elderly).
Any helmet-to-helmet hit should have an automatic timeout and have officials review the play to determine whether the hit was intentional (or, fine, avoidable) or not. If so, you’re out of the fucking game and should be suspended if a repeated offender.
Making it even crazier is the NFL’s response:
This is on Denver because they relentlessly targeted Newton but I also find it really disturbing that there’s not a discussion about checking the defensive shits who pull this too. The focus is on the high profile positions and players but those guys are having the same impact to their brains.
This is entirely besides the point, but a gameplay violation (grounding) should NEVER be offset by a personal foul. It’s complete bullshit, and it logically conveys that a game penalty is just as bad as a personal penalty, which is the opposite of what the NFL pretends to care about.
Spoken like a bunch of people who have never played the game. Cam was engaged by another player immediately before he was hit twice. Milliseconds are easy in Madden. The man is a monster and if he runs like a running back, you must hit him like a running back. Can’t have it both ways.
The only hit worthy of a penalty (the last one) was indeed penalized. The player hit showed no signs of being concussed, so there was no need to trigger the protocol. What we saw today was a good, hard hitting football game that was officiated correctly. You cannot legislate all the head hits out of the game. Sorry,…
Only one of those is anywhere near looking like intentional. This is dumb.
It’s a good thing the refs extended the game by gifting Carolina a free first down on 4th and 22 (should have been offsetting hands to the face penalties, replay 4th and 22) so that Cam could duck into a brutal hit to the head, not get evaluated, and still lose the game. A+++ job officials.
It’s shit, but karma for that hands to face that gave their drive new juice. Panthers player was all over the defenders helmet. Should’ve offset.
Because Ron Rivera went to the Andy Reid school of clock and timeout management.
They didn’t even pretend to do a legitimate concussion check - on Newton or Stewart.
I’ll grant you that, but an LS would have fit better.
The world needs more people like you.
I own a Cayman and I’m ok with the swap.
