This is my current dream car. Mostly for the pretty sounds it makes.
We just went through the process of picking all the interior stuff for our semi-custom build, and it was AWESOME. A bit overwhelming, but we split our appointment into two, so we could think some things over and come in a few days later for our final decisions. House should be done in January, and I can’t wait to see…
Agree completely. My current boss told me that I’m not enough of a “squeaky wheel” when I asked for a promotion. Apparently they aren’t looking to reward those that put their head down, and do a great job. You have to complain about things and then you’re on the radar. I’ve since started being more vocal about things…
Oh crap, where do I begin? On the ‘94 Ford F-150: Replace oil pan gasket, replace tires, oil change, new wipers, repair windshield washer, and a bunch of stuff I’m not going to do since it has 215k miles on it, and it only needs to last me until the Spring when I’ll replace it with a new F150
As a tech guy in Colorado, it looks like I’m in a pretty good spot.
I have a 2nd gen V, and it has been one of the most reliable cars I’ve owned. If the 3rd gen is as solid as gen2, I wouldn’t worry about it. I expected pricing to be more in the $75k range too, and I suspect they’ll sell for around that. I’m going to let someone else take the depreciation hit and possibly pick one up…
Not a fan of the Hanes ones. comfortable and durable, but ride up constantly.

Awesome! I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now. Now I have a tool to get it done.
Agree completely. I had this conversation with our electrical controls guy here at work. He's VERY good, and runs triple redundancy on our stuff, but even still, sometimes stuff craps out. He keeps saying that self driving cars are a horrible idea.
About a year after purchasing my wife's 2008 Infinity QX56 (used), all the dash lights went on and the car stopped and refused to start. She called me, and I told her that it sounded like a bad alternator. Luckily, she was across from a shop, and they towed the car across the street (for $50). Turns out that the…
Amen. I despise Walmart and avoid it whenever possible.
Finding this out through research is one of the main reasons I passed on the S6 I was looking at, and ruled out a few BMWs as well. Direct Injection has some issues to work out.
Looks like the "jaws" only open to about 3.2" when expanded out all the way. Too small for me to use :(

Hey guys, thanks for doing this. General question as we are getting ready to pre-qualify. Is it more important to have less in monthly payments, or more reserves in the bank? I'm looking at either paying off some credit card debt (current utilization is about 27%) or putting the money in savings. 401k and current…
OMGHOT.
She's a black car. Gotta keep her CLEAN!
620hp daily driver. By daily, I mean the nice days (not in the rain or snow), but I leave the traction control on and I'm careful because it'll still break the tires loose fairly easily.
Agree completely. A classless act from a classless organization.
