I was hesitant to call 45's voters stupid because I had thought that it’s rude and not necessarily true.

It’s charming how quickly his backers can switch from “Donald is an alpha male silverback gorilla who will not shit from anyone” to “Donald is a precious little baby who is not accustomed to Washington, D.C., and must be sheltered from those nasty politicians”. Supporting Donald is a tremendously corrupting enterprise.

Is there a reason they only interviewed people in their 70s and 80s?

An anecdote of why you can’t run government like a business. As told by Jamie Vollmer:

I was so jealous as a kid that all the other families seemed to go to the Dells every summer. I just went with my family to our trailer at a lake in Michigan. Now I realize the wisdom of their summer choices.

Obviously, facts would win the popular vote but lose in the Electoral College.

We’ve taken our kids a few times. They like the waterslides but otherwise it’s awful. It’s totally like the bastard offspring of an east coast beachside town and fishermen’s wharf without the seafood.

Remember: smart people can still make very, very dumb decisions, including the same ones over and over again. Intelligence does not always equal common sense.
