At least where I'm from, soccer is insanely popular as the sport of choice for school-aged girls. It seems to be true a lot of places. I can't figure out why advertisers wouldn't capitalize on that.

Maybe I'm a dirty hippie, but part of the fun of a music festival is being all grungy.

I am so glad I'm not planning on wearing a normal wedding dress. With the costumers I've been talking to for mine, my measurements are just that and not a word has been said about them.

@madeofawesome is a bamf: My jaw just dropped when I read that. I'm almost ready to stick the spaghetti sauce in the fridge and reinvent dinner in the next 20 minutes now.

@nibnycgrrl: I played WoW for a while actually, but it hit the point where in order to have fun I was running on other people's schedules, and that got old pretty quickly.

@withoutabaedeker: Mostly happy-together now. It's a work in progress, but I've definitely determined that if I DO want to get married, it's to him. (He wants to get married to me, I'm just suddenly unsure about the whole marriage thing. But the relationship, no complaints!)

@Writingirl: I mostly play RPG's and RTS. If I had to pick an all time favorite game, it would probably be Neverwinter Nights or Heroes of Might & Magic 3. Lately I have been replaying Morrowind. I DID pick up Settlers 7 but I'm not terribly impressed with it. (I haven't played it much either though.)

I mysteriously have a sudden headache, and found out I went running this afternoon in the middle of a massive air pollution warning. Yay.

@joiful bets you think this song is about you: We had a little game going a few weeks ago around the house here about what would be the worst movie to get remade. We finally settled on The Maltese Falcon (please Hollywood never never please) with North by Northwest as a runner-up (or this, never, please).

@sebluver: Because Taylor Swift can just hang out being wholesome, while Miley has to hammer out how wholesome she is with statements like that. I'm not a major fan of the "wholesome" either way, but at least one is pretty real about it while the other is shoving it in your face.

If anyone's still awake, I just got home form a nice relaxing weekend that has finally calmed many of my fears about my future with my fiance. Not all...but enough, and I am happy.

I don't EVER recall discussing diamonds with Mr. Writinguy, but he claims I told him I didn't like them. One way or the other, I have an emerald ring that I like much better than I would a diamond.
