@LaurieStrodeTheBoatAshore: I watched it with my then-boyfriend, now-fiance the night after we had gotten into a car accident (earlier in the afternoon). I had gotten stitches and was woozy and drugged, and he and I were still fairly new relationship-wise.
@fridaycat.: Spaghetti carbonara is pretty much my go-to. Nom nom nom
@Squabble: Someone on another forum I post on decoded a recipe for Plumpy'Nut (which is a rather interesting high-calorie food used by aid organizations in poverty-striken places to stave off hunger). It is apparently very tasty and a good camping food.
We are planning to register, but after some discussion (we're the similar situation where we'll likely be 30 before the no-date-yet wedding), we figured we need about half home-good stuff, and then...we are wondering if it would be really wrong to fill up the rest of the registry with video games and D&D books.
@WickedLittleHigh: Black bean burgers. Nom nom. Mr. Writinguy liked them so much I keep a batch in the freezer all the time.
@WickedLittleHigh: It CAN be done! Our grocery budget is a bit more week-to-week, but last week I bought a ton of fresh veggies and our groceries for the past 2 weeks actually has evened out to about $40. Generally we restrict meat to a bag o' frozen chicken and some turkey for Mr. Writinguy's lunch, and occasionally…
@thewitchandthemoll: I watched a BBC doc about obesity a while back with Richard Simmons on it, and man he DOES care. He was calling these people at home to check up on them, or visiting the place they were staying for therapy and weight loss, or whatever. It was really awesome to see.
@wtfox?!: I had short hair all through grade school. My mom bought me the He-man toys I asked for, too.
@TransFat: Well, the good news is a pack of smokes costs about twice what I was used to paying for them here, and since we're trying to save for a house in a city we LIKE, that helps. Sugar-free popsicles also help.
@ClassiqueMisdirection: Nahh—I have a few carefully chosen celebs on my Twitter (some because I like their work, and a few because they regularly show up being fun on TweetBeat—Lance Bass has not disappointed yet) and most of them just talk about their dogs or kids or work (i.e. "going to an interview blah blah"). The…
Wait. I can put a sign on my door for a month and PETA will pay me $5000? This is much more than I am making freelancing.
@TransFat: I quit about 2-3 months ago which coincided with a move to a new city where I knew (and still know) approximately 3 people. It's been pretty depressing and I've mostly put on a good bit of weight and...been depressed.
Ack, Anne Hathaway looks TERRIFYING. She is my girlcrush, why did they make her so scary?
"Robert Pattinson was late to the set because he'd gone to a strip club and Kristen Stewart got pissed. So Rob told Kristen that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her, and proposed… that they'll get married one day. He can't imagine being with anyone else, etc."
@vamusical: My roommates and I went regularly in college because they didn't card. No shame!
@rmric0.wedding.photographer.and.manny: At least those half-naked men are wearing PANTS like proper Americans.
@serendous: Reminds me of the interview where Scott Thompson, wearing jeans and a sweater, said "I love drag! I'm in drag right now!"
@donopolis: I had a large contingent of male friends in college who regularly wore long, huge skirts for the comfiness-factor.
@AfroJezeBella: My totally uneducated guess: If the medication would be a no-no while pregnant or the disease was passed through childbirth, definitely not. (Otherwise, still not sure.)
