Chait probably thinks he will loose his man card, by going to a Women’s March.

I’m crying

I had a fibroid a few years ago and before I got it removed it both expelled my IUD (that’s how I discovered I had a fibroid!) and caused me to bleed almost constantly. In the last 6 months before I had it removed, I think I may have had 10 days where I didn’t at least spot. It was a nightmare.

Before my pregnancy, I sometimes got a period, which would last for 6-7 days. And then after two days, I’d get a lighter period, which would last for 3-4 days. Sucks.

I wish I was joking, but there was a time my periods lasted on average of 2-3 weeks and I just lived with the belief this my life until I had a period last 9 weeks.

Abstinent people also use it for skin conditions and menstrual irregularities.

I had my period for over a year. Nearly killed me. I was stupid to wait so long to see a doctor. It’s been 7 years and I still have problems from letting it go for so long. Drs gave me the depo shot and had me taking 3 birth control pills a day and it still wouldn’t stop. I was the hungriest bitch on the planet.

Lucky. When I got my first IUD, I spot bled for literally 16 months (long story but...I had no other viable BC option at time and still liked boning, so...)

Ugh, I have a nexplanon implant that I really need to take out. Maybe I’m too old for it, but my periods are completely fucked now. They used to be three days, light, right on time. Now it’s unpredictable - three days one month out of nowhere, two weeks the next and then it starts again a week later.

Yea that’s a face of meth if I ever saw one.

I had a fibroid tumor in my uterus which caused me to have a period for two solid months until I changed to a higher estrogen birth control pill. No one, not my PCP or my gynecologist, seemed concerned about it until I’d been bleeding for over a month. WTF.

Its easy to lose track of a kid when you are busy concentrating on your career as a methamphetamine addict.

When I came off Depro Provera my period lasted 12 weeks.

I got one (ONE!!) depo shot once and had my period FIVE WHOLE MONTHS. It started off as spotting and got heavier and heavier until it stopped. Those were dark days. Fuck that shot.

I’m getting the Skyla IUD next month, which did you have? My Dr. said I’d probably spot for a month or two, not fun, but I guess after that my period will really simmer down.

My period once lasted four months. Stress can be a bitch on a body, apparently. In the end, I had to go on the pill to knock it back to normal cycle, and now then it still lasts 12 days on bad months.

I have endometriosis and my longest period was 32 days about 2 years ago. Was anemic and had to take iron pills, felt weak all the time. I am getting an IUD for the first time today (in 2 hours!!) and not looking forward to the possibly horrible first period.

I gave birth, bled for 6 weeks, got my period immediately following this, then I got an IUD and bled for another 2 weeks. I was in pads or tampons for almost 3 months. It was torture.

Did your doctor warn you that would happen? That sounds awful and terrifying by week 2. I can’t even imagine dealing with that.
