I should have been more clear, I wasn’t trying to criticize the current blog post. It was supposed to be a broader comment on an uptick I’ve noticed on social media, especially during the election, of citing the daily mail like a regular newspaper when this headline is an example of how awful it really is.
Nobody that reads Jezebel, maybe. But plenty of people from my backwoods home town treat it as an equivalent to major American newspapers.
I hate that Americans—because anything British is fancy and high brow—are treating the daily mail as a reputable news source instead of a tabloid.
