My buddy who makes animated gifs of beer labels is also on that list. Cool!

You already know it's a perfect season of television. It's Goodness is not up for debate (it's Greatness, maybe, but everyone pretty much agrees it's good TV). He's devoting a LOT of words to discussing how layered and satisfying it is. Why does it need a grade?

Due to the Internet, the AV Club was able to find out about this a full 4 days after it happened. Technology!

Apparently you were so focused on the penis that missed the ridiculously superhuman stream?

The hardest I laughed was during the credits when Chris Gethard was credited "As Himself."

It's an… understandable desire to feel like you aren't alone shouting into the void, but you shouldn't put too much stock in it.

Yeah, all three references to that ("rough fucking ride," "Double fucking newsflash," and "cunt punt") were all reverse shots or super-wide shots. It's actually done fairly seamlessly. Good work!

Don't forget the classic from the pilot: Buster playing his drums.

In fairness to Todd, he does site ACTUAL examples of good editing. Both seasons' True American sequences are really great, implying a hidden set of rules rather that just pandemonium. But other AVClub writers (I'm looking at you, Erik Adams) keep citing the Smash-Cut-Sight-Gag as an example of the editor doing the

"There’s perhaps no better show on television right now at cutting between one character saying something amusing to an amusing sight gag for the next scene, thus creating even
bigger laughs from the juxtaposition of the two bits of comedy into one bigger bit."

That said, Jason Segel citing examples of the hackneyed jokes on How I Met Your Mother and and Kevin Hart finding them genuinely hilarious was one of the funnier celebrity jokes in This Is The End.

If only I could Pied Piper these ads away. I'd be rich!

Jesus fucking Christ these ads with audio. I'm done!

Say what you want about St. Cloud, but every time someone says the name "Pee Wyy" it makes me laugh.

This has been like a 3-hour rabbit hole for me. My employer will be sending you an invoice for time lost.

In the grand scheme of indie-pop, they are remarkably not-terrible.

Hmm…

You're joking, but his bakery is right on the main drag and it's like the fuckin' Today Show outside with tourists lining up. Annoying as hell.

Yeah this sucks. Many a Light Rail trip up from Jersey City to see some good shows.
