Harmon has too much respect for his characters, their world, and television in general to "undo" a whole season.

God took the wrong son!

Well, it's not like a bunch of the founding members and strong editorial voices of this site all recently jumped ship en masse…

Or just, you know, "Doctor."

Is anybody still paying attention to this thread? Because the Toledo War was ridic, and I want to share this passage with everyone:

You'd think most people know this, but this comment section is full of people saying that the multi-camera sitcom is dead and will never come back.

Yeah I saw an advanced screening of this about a month ago and I thought it was great. Not genius or groundbreaking, but incredibly enjoyable. Guess it just didn't click with the reviewer.

Ohio resident myself. Quarter million sounds right for Pawnee, right?

The other thing is that these pro-cons (creator freedom) aren't necessarily inherent in the format, they just the direction that the networks have been pushing each format.

Preemptive Cool Story Bro warning: So I wanted to respond to your post with something hyper-masculine, which led me to wonder if someone had invented an emoticon for Tim Allen's Home Improvement grunt, which led me to Google "tim allen emoticon", which didn't turn up what I was looking for but DID lead me to the forum

Sorry if I'm misreading, my sarcasm meter goes off the charts on this site.

What I find interesting is that this show is much more progressive than you'd expect dumb-but-enjoyable family sitcom on ABC Family to be. It consistently treats issues like drugs, teen sex, various feminist stuff, etc. positively, but in a low key, "well of course it should be this way" manner.

I want you to imagine someone's mouth as they say the word "joke" in super-slow motion.

I know the chicken dance is one of the cited, gif-able moments in the series and I've seen it a bunch of times, but David Cross's reaction shot at the very end might still be the funniest thing in the whole series.

[Marah Eakin wrote this headline] and it's great!

Yeah, the DVD they were selling at the event was only 5 discs.

Re: Dunder Mifflin Infinity - People say the show got worse when Jim and Pam finally got together, but for me the first major mistep was the assassination of Ryan's character once he was promoted. Seasons 5-9 Ryan is almost unrecognizable compared to Seasons 1-3 Ryan.

Trick question: All of them, just like every other episode in the series.

Parks and Rec is actually a really good point of comparison. A bunch of people watched the first few (no so good) episodes, wrote it off, then refused to believe the chorus of, "No really, it's gotten so much better!"

But we all know "Outsourced" MADE it cool. Where's the walkthrough on that, huh AV Club?
