Godfather isn’t a basic popcorn flick like Mad Max or Fast and Furious

“Sabotage” is the new “Fake News”
don’t they all have more or less the same plot? I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them all. I’m considering seeing the new one on $5 Tuesday, but I can already guess what the plot is. Somebody is going to try to get from point A to point B with valuable cargo, and will be chased by professional wrestlers in clown cars.
Mad Max is kind of a one trick pony. “Let’s get some valuable cargo from point A to point B while we’re being chase by funny looking people in cars.” It’s a post apocalypse Smokey and the Bandit. Do it with zombie Burt Reynolds, and I think they’ll see a better return.
Rowland to usher: “Don’t you dare try to ush me!!!”
“Wouldn’t it be cool if.....?” No. No it wouldn’t.
I’ve sworn off biopics, because they are never as good as documentaries on the same subject. I’d rather just watch the documentary.
I liked Wong’s girlfriend better. When does she get a series?!?!?!?
RELEASE THE FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE! It can’t be worse than the others
She could be the new Cara Dune just to piss off what’s her name.
I’m afraid they are going to try to shoehorn in 10 villains for an epic 3 1/2 hour film
I only need one villain in my FF movie. That villain is Dr. Doom
I saw Shellac warm up for Iggy years ago. While Shellac was enjoyable, it kind of solidified my opinion that Albini was more of a behind the scenes guy. I loved PJ Harvey’s Rid of Me when it came out. Anyway....61? That’s sad.
he’s such a good villain that I’d hate to see him as a hero
My trans nephew was a huge Harry Potter fan growing up. Going to conventions, dressing up, buying wands, etc, etc. Talk about crushed. It just seems so needless.
What was fresh for Ragnarok was no longer fresh for Love and Thunder. They leaned way too hard into a joke that was played out.
I didn’t hate season 1 as much as others did. I felt it was a perfectly cromulent elseworlds take on Velma. I didn’t feel that Scooby Doo was somehow being ruined. However, I didn’t feel that it succeeded in doing whatever they were trying to accomplish. Maybe they were just trying to threaten original Scooby Doo…
Ry Cooder’s “Paris, Texas” soundtrack is pretty awesome
I downloaded Madame Web, then never watched it. I wonder if this will fare any better
kids love Donovan?
