I remember my dad calling us down to the family room because Marvin Gaye was going to sing the anthem

I like how she really leans into bum notes

but this is good shit!

Hmmmm....I was on the fence, but the trailer looks good. Throw in a Zemo dance scene, and I would definitely watch it. What? He’s not in it?!?!?!? That’s a missed opportunity.

I must be the only person that likes Some Time In New York City. I even like the Yoko songs lol. Anyway, with these expanded releases, I usually like to hear the demos once. There are rare cases of great demos. The All Things Must Pass demos with just George, Ringo, and Klaus Voorman were nice. You know who has good

every morning she begs him “please don’t put on that wig.” Her cries go unanswered.

I’m imagining him putting that wig on and thinking “Yeah, this looks good!”

is it possible that the general trend is superhero movies, but there is some small sign of a few kids being interested in classic films? Nice swearing! Sounds like a tantrum

Oh? Did I upset you? Enough to start swearing? lol that’s hilarious. It’s nice to see young people go to an old film out of curiosity. Maybe a few of them might go see another Coppola film. Does that mean that young people as a whole are doing it? You think there will be a renaissance in film? I’m not looking for an

Yeah, at this point I’ve come to accept that the popular culture that I grew up with is ancient history to young people. I doubt my niece and nephew would know anything about Orson Welles. Charlie Chaplin? They might know who he was. I’m pretty sure my brother had them watch Modern Times. Apocalypse Now? I doubt it.

I love going to movie theaters, and I have one right across the street. $5 Tuesdays in the Chicago area. However, I’m not seeing much coming out that I want to see. I skipped Barbenheimer. It just wasn’t my cup of tea. I skipped Killers of Flower Moon because it was 3 1/2 hours long. Sorry Scorsese, I don’t want going

I can’t help but look at him and think “Creep.” Hollywood probably thinks the same thing. Maybe he has paid for his crimes, but everybody knows he’s a creep. Maybe they can try him out as a serial killer or a twitchy snitch. Or maybe they can cast him as Blow-feld in the next James Bond film.

It was one of the older crowds that I have seen at a concert lol. Come to think of it, I saw Fear two years ago. The crowd was depressingly old. Then I saw X last year, same thing. OMG! I’m old!

I believe AARP is sponsoring the tour

speaking of ads before a show, just before the Rolling Stones concert on their latest tour, they run an AARP commercial on the big screen lol. I just about died laughing.

No matter what Kevin Bacon has done in his career, he’ll always be the guy who saved the small town from it’s “no dancing allowed” rule. Anyway, I’m pretty oblivious to people while I’m out and about. The idea that I couldn’t walk by a star like Bacon is hilarious. Somebody would literally have to point him out to me

Montalban elevates everything he is in

I would probably walk right by him thinking “That guy looks familiar.

dude wants to be like common people! What a laugh!

Internet Archive has a good copy of The Glass Harmonica.
