The reason the other FF films aren’t fondly remembered? They didn’t stay true to the source material. Galactus isn’t a space cloud. Doom didn’t get bombarded by cosmic rays riding in the same space shuttle as the FF. Johnny Storm isn’t a black man. These were unsuccessful and unnecessary changes. Here we go again.…

I’m already over it. I’ll just download it for free instead of seeing it in a theater. Too bad, because I love going to the movies.

I don’t have a problem with Galactus having a female herald. There already is a fine one (Fankie Raye - Nova). Why not use her instead of changing the sex of the Silver Surfer? The back story of the Silver Surfer has to be changed quite a bit, right? Was he not a good enough character? It’s funny that you have faith…

They still have a few songs from back in the 70s that I like. Cold Gin. Black Diamond. I saw them back then when I was 10 years old and it was pretty enjoyable. Not enough to go see them again....and certainly not enough to go see a hologram tour lol.

Considering the success of some of the recent films, they actually are making them for free....or losing money. Why is that?

I still read FF and Thor. What is missing in today’s comics? The corniness. No matter how you slice it, you have people dressed up in ridiculous costumes doing things that aren’t possible. Lean into it. I would watch the shit out of a FF movie titled “LO....the Watcher Cometh.” Maybe it’s just nostalgia.

It is kind of the charm of the FF. Part of the reason Thor works is because they retained his corniness.

I guess I’m not in my right mind. This is a marketing move. Maybe girls will buy a female Silver Surfer action figure. There was nothing wrong with having a black Johnny Storm, either...except it didn’t make sense. Stuff like this is decided in a board room. It’s not art.

My hope was that they wouldn’t make the same mistake with past FF films. They didn’t stay true to the source material. This will probably be another Marvel film that I wait to see the reviews first.
