I saw The Thing at a drive-in when it came out. It remains a drive-in flick to me. I saw Purple Rain under the same circumstances. Same thing. Drive-in flicks. Better than Porkys, sure.

I went back to the movie theater for the first time in ages for the new Bond flick. Somebody brought their baby, who cried through the entire thing.

It takes somebody like Moe Howard to really rock a bowl cut. Mark Davis? No. Zuck? No.

I liked Morbius when I was a kid. I even collected Adventures into Fear, which featured him for 10 issues or so. It was drawn by the worst comic book artist ever, Frank Robbins. Ugh....I hate that guy! He ruined Daredevil for awhile, if I remember correctly.

I read the original series when it came out. Even as a kid, I could tell it wasn’t very good. The dialog was horrible. The only thing good about it was the art. 10 year old me gave up on it after about 5 issues. I don’t have high hopes for this film. I understand the characters have been re-imagined several times…

I started watching the latest Chappelle special, but I never got to the transphobia part. After he tripled down on a “space jews” joke that wasn’t funny the first time, I gave up. Didn’t he used to be funny? Not worth my time.
