I'm sorry, scratch the follow up. I was going to pose the question "How does Disconnect fare compared to other privacy extensions?", but then realized that Lifehacker already made Disconnect their suggested tool (http://lifehacker.com/the-best-brows…)

Ok, fair enough...any chance this could be an "option" in the future, requiring opt-in to enable proxy on all tabs?? And I actually have another question, but I will pose it in a separate discussion.

Well, welcome! And thank you for taking the time to read our comments! Is it set to tab specific in order to reduce the potential amount of traffic to your proxies, or are there other reasons??

"We set"...are you a spokesperson from Disconnect??

From their intro page:

Is anyone else receiving an "unable to resolve host address 'speedtest.wdc01.softlayer.com'" error from wget? It's not a networking issue, from what I can tell, as I can ping the address without issue.

Why a *white* sponge??

Are you firing your spidey web with that hand positioning?? Ouch! I know I leave my ring and middle fingers extended when using this shortcut...anyone else doing this painful looking hand position??

Any similar apps for Android 2.3+??

"Luckily, this only happens if you create a small list of people who can see the post. If you exclude a few people from seeing the post, it won't show they've been excluded." -From article

Does this mean Facebook won the bidding war??

Ahh, important stuff...thanks for the update!

Sold...thanks for the follow up!

Ok, so it sounds like if you pay for the premium feature, then you can get your passwords synced between devices. But on the password manager page, it says "Locally stored or universally synced...". Can you shed any light on how well the syncing of data works between devices??

"ask for your money back or cash back instead" What is the difference between money back and cash back? Does one imply you get more back than just the cost of your ticket??

Anyway that you know of to get it to run *before* login, in order to use for logging into the machine initially??

Perhaps some ambitious LHers could help me with this one. Is there anyway to run a script for hotkeys, e.g., F10 types in password, etc., to run on system startup?? This would allow for interaction with the Windows login interface.

Ok, *BIG* issue now...they've gotten rid of the subject "Chat With XXX(# lines)", so I can no longer filter out chats from labels. Any tips?!

Except they don't make it as easy to get lots of free space like Dropbox! I have 35 GB of FREE space on dropbox! =)
