As one of those mountain people, I can tell you that you are absolutely correct. A bear tried to forced open the door to my wife’s Escape by prying open the driver’s door. She wound up with a broken window and twisted window frame. Oh, and there was no food in the car.

While the bear is bouncing on the windshield they are denting the hood and often bending the roof as well.

Look at sailboat listings. I do NOT need multiple pics of the anchor, 3 pics of the cheap car stereo you installed and zero pics of the forward V-berth. And owners wonder why the boats sit on the market for so long.

Same with my Audi. Wasn’t looking for it, but now I find it a YUUGE inconvenience to reach into my pocket and pull out an actual key when I drive my wife’s car
