My personal favourite was the original World of Warcraft manual. Back when it came on about 8 CD’s.

It was intense, it had all of the history of Warcraft written up in detail from before the First War to the events in between. It had unique write-ups for every class, how they fit together, their background.

The problem isn’t that they are charging $50 for a $34 part, its that they are charging $300 for a $34 part and think the customer is too stupid to know the difference.
