As an Alabamian — don’t blame the locals. They already discovered years ago that it was a lot better to rent out their apartments or houses for $500/night and leave town for the weekend than to have to be around for this.

This happens at public beaches on warm days where I live, and it fills me with rage.  We (the locals) end up cleaning it up because the state park staff doesn’t have the 30+ people required to do the work on a Monday morning.

Please don’t believe the headlines: while this does look bad, most of the trash eventually got into its lifted pickups and drove off.

Pretty sure those pigs aren’t setting anything on fire, and they clean up their own trash by eating all of it.

Honestly, I’m having a hard time exactly describing how much this disturbs me. It would take a whole lot of drugs and liquor for me to have fun in that human excrement landfill.
