Partly what I hope happens. I think there is a decent segment of the population who would align with a new party like that especially with the two parties shifting more to the polar opposites of each other.

But to suggest there is racial inequality, that our prisons our disproportionate for minor drug crimes and for minorities is a hugetshift from the GOP norm. I still think the survival of the GOP stems on them being able to adapt to what the Paul’s started. A libertarian sense of fiscal conservatism, the libertarianesque approach to social issues, and some refocusing on some of the power to the states.

I actually prefer someone more moderate or centrist (although this race has swung me more to the left than ever).

There's not a huge gap between the two. Hillary is shifting as left as she possibly can without putting herself out of the running in the general but her history definitely puts her center left on the spectrum. Kasich is pretty close being the most moderate of the GOP candidates.
