I’m not sure how successful this was but I’ve seen at least two of them in the wild.
We had a massive hail storm sweep through a wealthy part of Dallas a few years ago. Cars were totaled but they looked horrible compared to those photos. I mean beat to hell, broken glass, etc. There has to be more to this than meets the eye.
I’m horrible about waiting too long to refuel. Over the years I’ve run out a few times but I’m much better about it these days. That being said, I had a very close call recently.

I think it’s somewhat fitting that his crime spree ended at a Junior High, as that’s likely where his pursuit of education ended as well.
I agree that it makes the wheel arch look higher but even Lamborghinis do it, so there has to be more to it than that.
Sorry if I missed that. I’d really like to know why they do it. I tried to find a current example that doesn’t do it but couldn’t find a single one except for vehicles with fender flares.

For me it’s the flat side arch of the wheel wells of damn near every modern car. Why are there so many different cars from every manufacturer that have that design element? I really don’t get it.
