from rokuki.com “Install and open the Prime Video appon your Roku(you don’t need Prime to install), then scroll down to channels and add IMDb Freedive.” i watch from a smart/roku tv.

I imagine a similar situation, just that they had the programmer do the graphics instead of hiring a separate graphic designer. The programmer will just put enough effort into it for it to be functional (which it is). It’s up the graphic designer to put the polish into it.

Now playing

It’s not just dropping the handle; it’s still leaving it in the car and driving off.

I’m glad someone finally addressed this, as it boggles my mind that such a shitty UI is allowed to leave a multi-million dollar company on a finished product. Not only that, but over the years they have never improved it.

That’s not true; I’ve already put in a request with our Chronographic Restitution Department, and they’ve agreed to credit your account seven extra minutes. You’re welcome.

You overestimate the average person’s attention span.

This honestly doesn’t surprise me that much. This sort of thing happens all the time in the software world.

Those stupid pumps running ads and “news” segments about some celebrity’s new baby really make me want to punch them. I’ve gotten as far as redirecting my fist to hit the plastic shrouds instead so I don’t have to pay $1,600 for a fucking $4 screen because THEY WON’T SHUT UP.

Sure, that Camaro looks like something I drew in high school, but what’s insanely worse are the COMPLETELY and TOTALLY illegible LCD screens on so many pumps. I’m not talking color displays, I mean the monochrome liquid crystal screens that resemble a 1980s calculator with a failing battery. WT actual F? I’m

It’s like a Camaro with recessive Vega genes bent a Corvair over the ice cream counter, had a love child while on meth, and delivered a drag strip baby. I want to adopt it.

Because, we, as clever gearheads, could easily recognize that car as a Porsche 911, and we all know that on that famous car, the fuel filler is on the front fender, not where it’s shown there.

That bus is a sad monument to a sad story.

Honestly, storing passwords in plaintext *anywhere* is utterly inexcusable. Their entire tech group should hang their heads in shame.

It could be both:

More is more.

This is weapons-grade stupid.

This stuff plus Space Ghost C2C really primed us for Adult Swim(and pot), didn’t it?

The stark aesthetic of the intro and Prometheus’ harsh features scared the shit out of me as a kid. I was 12 and, in retrospect, entirely too old to be bothered by a clay cartoon on a children’s network. I live my life in constant shame; not specifically because of this, but it certainly doesn’t help.

KaBlam! was great. Until recently, the full series was on the creator’s website for free, but the files look to be dead now. I managed to download them all a few years back though.
