Why not just leave it in neutral unless your parking on a hill or your parking brake is shot? This advice sounds like the start of the next round of GM lawsuits, "I put my car in reverse like that nice man from GM told me to do and next thing I knew, I was backwards in a lake/over a cliff/on fire/etc."

My parents live in a 1740's era farmhouse so at 275 years old, I have you both beat. I grew up in a house from 1890, with steam radiators, creaky wood floors, a giant oil fired furnace that would roar like a jet engine, so I'm pretty used to weird house noises in the night.

That's awesome! Sounds like a fun period of your life. Got any posters left that you would be willing to part with for a price? (Hopefully a low price)

Finally! I was just thinking about this the other day. I said out loud to myself, "How can I create an iPhone and Android virus that will yell at a user taking video in portrait mode until they turn it to landscape?" Google must have been listening with the always on Moto X.

I totally agree. It was a genius marketing tie-in.

Too bad the people who buy Magnums (Dodge) are most likely too small in the trousers to need to by Magnums (Trojan).

I guess that's true now that Saab is no more. It used to be that all Saabs were owned by architects.

Yea, their stuff is really overpriced at times. $21 for a peanut lighter?! ( http://www.bestmadeco.com/collections/ca… )I bought one of these for $11 5 years ago. You can get one on amazon for $3 but that one doesn't say if its stainless steel or not.

Damn it! You're right! I missed the 2nd 'e'.

That is the best description of a VR/WR engine note that I have ever heard. I would like to borrow that phrase for my own future use, with your permission of course. I also agree with you that the VR and WR engines make great noises especially when compared to standard engines with the same cylinder count. My friend's

That's exactly what I was going to post. His ninja dive was also nowhere close to saving that trailer.

You can add $63,000 to the cost of a 918 spyder by selecting the "liquid metal" paint. You could buy your fully loaded Boxster for that much and come away with 2 cars instead on one with insanely expensive paint.

My flight back from a work meeting this past Wednesday was delayed and Google was telling me that it would be delayed before the United app ever did or even the display at the gate. Luckily it was only a 20 min delay, but it was nice to know that Google was ahead of the game.

I agree. One of the many things I love about Google Now. It really comes in handy while you are traveling or on vacation. I really appreciated it recently when I was traveling for work and it knew where my hotel was and where the local branch of my office was, which made it super easy to quickly pull up navigation and

What are you gals talking about? Who's wikipedia page was shocking/sad?

Northlandz is awesome! I'm glad to see that it's getting a bit more publicity. I went there once when I was a kid and it was really impressive how much stuff there is in that building, which is pretty large by itself. It's one of those weird attractions in Jersey that you have to go see at some point in your life.

I sometimes think that the touches don't register occasionally, mostly the bottom of the phone sometimes is hard to get the touch to register, but it's very rare. I think its the shock protection layer that can dampen your touches if you dont use enough force or hit it correctly.
