You're welcome! Glad I could offer some useful advice. I also have the Shock Absorbing screen protector from Power Support that Motorola sells for the Moto X. I mostly like it so far except that one corner keeps on getting an air bubble in it but since it uses re-positional adhesive I just squeeze the air out

Personally though, I upgraded from the Droid Bionic I was using this time last year to a Moto X (yeah, there are lot of Moto X fans here at Lifehacker) and I'm in the crowd that's perfectly happy saying it's the best phone I've ever used. I struggled for weeks between it and an HTC One (and I still might get a used

I have a pair of Altec Lansing UHP336 IEMs and I love them. I wish I had bought a spare pair though as they are not available anymore and I'm dreading the day that I have to replace them. They sound great, are super comfortable, but they sometimes don't stay in my ears very well due to the stiff cord. I probably

I HATE this MPG style display. It's useless! Give me some real numbers, Damnit!

I can't believe they went with a idiot MPG bar gauge instead of giving us useful numbers. If I have a MPG gauge I want to know numbers not relatively how much gas I'm using.

Yea, your right about butter being 4 sticks to a pound which is a normal box. I guess if you have the space to dedicate to 200lbs of butter, then more power to you.

Not sure if your being serious or not, but 200lbs of butter for 2 people is insane unless you are a pair of butter sculptors. I think 200 lbs of butter would last me almost 200 years. I'm sure I don't use more than a lb a year. Even if I went through a crazy amount like 4 lbs a year thats 50 years of butter.

Now I got it. I wasn't making the connection between Lacy T and their uniform.

I still don't get it. Explain it to me like I'm 5.

I agree will all of you in this comment thread. I love the Subaru burble as it adds so much character to what could otherwise be an everyday 4-cyl engine noise. I specifically chose my borla exhaust to enhance the deep burble of my WRX. It makes me sad when I hear WRXs with fartcan exhausts drive by that end up

That's still freaking awesome. I've always admired their work and one of my models that I made in school for a project looked really similar to a actual building that they designed and got built and I only realized it a couple months later when I was browsing their website.

There are a lot of simple thermostats out there. I lived in an apartment with multiple cheap thermostats that were basically 85ºF or 55ºF. Rather annoying. I'm not a thermostat expert which is why I copied the comments from the thermostat designer. If your taking the trouble to DIY a thermostat, building in a few

Pretty nice start. I will be the first to bring up that it needs the fail-safes that normal thermostats have. See similar comments over at Hack-a-Day where they showcased an android version: http://hackaday.com/2012/10/13/ope…

I probably didn't spend enough time at the RISD museum when I went to architecture school there. However, being an architecture student doesn't allow you much time to do anything else besides architecture.

Very very jealous of you. Can I hit you up if I ever need a job in Philly? I got my B.Arch at RISD if that helps at all.

Oil does come from dinosaurs! Or has Sinclair been lying to me all these years?

That sounds about right for cutting through reinforced concrete this thick. You are only accounting for the length of the building not the height. You have to consider both dimensions. They used a diamond wire/cable saw which is the easiest way to do this but also takes a while since the cable wears down periodically

That's what she said!

That clarifies it a bit. I was wondering why you stuck with such a lemon for so long! Too bad most of it was on a Leg GT. I always wanted a dark gray or black Legacy GT Bilstein edition, too bad they are insanely rare now :(

I agree. If I owned the car I would make sure that I always approached it from the front so I could forget about the Hyundai taillights. It seems to be a common theme these days that car designers forget about the back/run out of time for the back/or all the money gets spent on the front and the back gets the bargain
