Jeez, all those problems and you didn't lemon law the car? It sounds like you got a lemon to me. I've had my '02 WRX since 2004 and it has 142k miles on it with almost no major problems, and that's with the previous owner being a young kid who didn't know about taking good care of the car.

This is the best angle I've seen of the car yet. It actually makes me want to buy one! Maybe because it's an action shot and I'm imagining myself in the car going around this hairpin, but I think it finally looks properly aggressive. Or maybe its because this angle hides the meh rear end.

I'm all for reasonably priced beer, but I am strongly against flavorless beer. There are always other options out there besides lightly beer flavored water.

Actually I will defend Doug115 and King of the Hill here. I love King of the Hill and remember that episode distinctly. Think about when that episode came out in 2000. It was during the time when low flow toilets were still new and not nearly as good as they are today. My parents house has some of those older low flow

Emily shares a DIY recipe for unclogging toilets:

Blast from the past: Oversteer My Bagel T-Shirt:

That's a good tip. So basically just install a moisture filter on your compressor's air line and you can get nitrogen filled tires at home too.

A wet measuring cup has the line a little below the top of the cup, so you can avoid spillage. Tapping a wet measuring cup to settle a dry ingredient to the desired line will cause some fine ingredients, like flour or sugar, to compact. This can wreak havoc with fragile recipes. For example, an extra 10 grams of sugar

Sounds similar to my experience with a timid driver at a T intersection. I was a car behind her on the cross-bar of the T (The road without the stop sign thus having the right of way). There was some traffic on both roads and probably about 6-7 cars stopped at the stop sign. This person decides to stop and wave a good

If your car doesn't have it, worst case scenario is that you forget to turn them on and get a ticket, or make people angry on your way. You will realize it at some point. If your car does have it, the shadow of a building or a short underpass can trigger your lights, which will drive you mad.

Dobie pads are awesome! They are my favorite scrubby sponges.

For those who prefer to spend money on their fix, and avoid any of these potential (yet unlikely) issues, you have quite a few options. Surfboard wax and petroleum jelly (like Vaseline) work, but you can also just stop by your local hardware store and buy lubricating oil. As the name suggests, it's oil and it

Thank you for recommending that GettingOldSucks starts by finding a registered architect. Coming from a contractor that means a lot to me as an architect. These days it seems like a lot of people think you can get away without having an architect. We have a lot of skills to offer beyond making a pretty building and

I agree and the Taconic Parkway is similar. They both are a beautiful drive when the traffic is light enough to enjoy them but nerve-wracking when "merging" on and driving next to poorly driven cars and SUVs in heavy traffic. Driving both those roads made me really happy to have a WRX with a good set of grippy tires

I'm annoyed with it too, however it worked out real nicely to watch it on my portrait orientated monitor at work, during lunch.

This sounds like a much better idea. The Pi doesn't have the best throughput, so routing all your internet traffic through it as an access point might slow down your internet noticeably.

Thanks for recommending my post Matt!

Here is my submission for an awesome track. I designed this track as my final project for a studio class where we got to work with the guys from Factory Five Racing to design a new factory for them based on an old warehouse with a decent sized site. The building was larger than they ever would need and one of the
