I don’t understand how this is so clean, but also so rusty... In my experience, rusty cars are usually also filthy, caked in mud / dirt / oil.

Infiniti G35 (or 37)
If I can get an $800 e46 back on the road, this ought to be easier. Having a hard top would’ve been nice, but I think this is in the NP range.
I saw someone mention all the goodness in this era of G35 in the comments of your suggestions article: 3.5L v6, RWD, 6-speed, (viscous) LSD.
the Tremec in the current GT350's is also a treat to operate
I work in the Detroit auto industry, and I love seeing all the leaks and rumors about the vehicles I work on, but sometimes it kills me that I can’t legally step in and correct some of the horrifically bad theories.
I bought mine (323i)at 210,000 miles, and all the windows and skylight still work, somehow (cheapest running, manual, RWD car I could find)
Call me crazy, but my money is on a hybrid mid-engined Corvette
potential issue is that EV’s are locked in park while charging. You’d need to draw straight from the trunk pack, not charge the car’s pack.
thats a CP. I got one for $800 (but with absurd mileage and signifigant rust issues) its a turd, but its mine
allegedly 44 of these in the US, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a handful in the Greater Detroit Area.
lots of bimmers around me on Craigslist are getting to or close to 200k miles. Hell, my e46 has 214k.
CP. I bought a ‘99 e46 for ~10% this asking price. Granted, its different in every way aside from being a BMW with the M52TU and a 5-speed, and I’m spending a lot of time and money fixing it, but I’m still going to be under ~$2000 total when its all said and done.
well, I’ve got 1 (focus ST), 3 (e46 323i), and am waiting on 5 until the e46 is done
man, the upward... notch? in the grilles makes these cars look too happy.
