You’re in luck. . .
You’re in luck. . .
(realizing I made this same comment, essentially, six years ago on this very board. apologies for the redundancy)
I was expecting this as the header image myself:
Once they couldn’t get Glenn for RED DRAGON, they should have gone back to Farina instead of hiring Harvey Keitel.
The film and book of HANNIBAL also makes all his victims “deserve” to die, on some level. Which makes it easier for Lecter to be the “good bad guy” for the audience.
One of the things I really respect about SILENCE is that, despite going for the easy and merited about eating Chilton, the film didn’t shy away from how…
There are enough comments below about Nick Jonas’s arms that I feel safe in expressing the equally-objectifying opinion that Heidi looked really, REALLY good in the mirror sketch. Yowza.
OR
Good news for everyone who wanted Jon Hamm to play Superman - he’s the star of the film.
It could go that way for sure. I’m also expecting General Lane to cash in his good-grandpa bona fides with one or both of the kids to try and turn them into the Good Soldier that he clearly wishes Clark would be.
I was surprised how reasonable Sam seemed in the pilot (since he’s most often a right bastard in the…
The “Alex Jones”-ing bothered me less than the fact that this JJJ seemed to have no connection to Peter before the Mysterio leak. Jameson’s hatred of Spider-Man is missing something if he doesn’t have Peter right under his nose working for him the whole time. . .
If this show is far enough along that it is airing in April, how much effect can Whedon stepping aside/being removed as showrunner in November really have had? How many episodes were in the can by then? - IMDB lists Whedon as directing two of them. . .
For some of us old-school Avengers fans, that’s what his teammates always called him:
Maybe we can get the guy from the SNEAKERS flashbacks. . .
Agreed! INVASION was pretty good too.
I paid for a month to see FOR ALL MANKIND, and will absolutely do the same when the new season is all up for viewing. Nothing else of theirs has really caught my eye thus far.
You have a source? I didn’t get any hits on Google for that. (If I’m going to lose my imaginary girlfriend, I’d like to be sure...)
I’ll put in a vote for REHAB ADDICT. Fun and practical, not flip/budget obsessed, and the host is very easy on the eyes. . .
I’d only seen Hodghe in STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON, and then found him quite impressive in CITY ON A HILL opposite Kevin Bacon. But he’s tremendously charismatic in this - he’s absolutely on my radar now.
I also thought Goree was the best on-screen Ali I’ve yet seen. (Sorry, Will.)
I think they already used AIM as Killian’s company in IRON MAN 3, but the shot of the guy in the beekeeper outfit coming out of the sewer made me think they are part of the action. The “beekeeper” look is probably how Wanda’s mind is trying to make the outfits make sense in the altered reality. . .
Maybe the whole movie is about everyone expecting Shuri to become the new BP. She tries for a while, but by the end of the film she realizes that Nakia is the right person for the job, while Shuri continues as Queen/genius/tech supply.
