Cosigned. You’d like us men to do better, but not many would have that kind of self-control.

It’s like I’ve said about the (initial) Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie affair: I don’t get how a guy cheats on Jennifer Aniston. . . but by the same token I don’t know how you’d resist Angelina Jolie coming after you either.

Frasier Crane? Pedantic?

Has D’Arnot appeared in any other Tarzan adaptations? He’s a big part of the book, and Holm kills in the role in GREYSTOKE. But I can’t think of another screen appearance of the character. . .

Seconded. LOVED his D’Arnot.

Agreed that recasting Kate Kane is the way to go.

I would have pegged Admiral Paris as the go-to TREK mention for this obit.

Yup, and Jay Mohr. Hysterical episode. Milch’s GWB story killed me.

I’ve said for years that the biggest problem with that movie (and, honestly, Geoff Johns’ take on the character in the comics) is that it tries to make Hal Jordan into Gordo Cooper, when he was always Alan Shepherd.

Whatever the movie’s crimes, at least this article made me realize that Lauren Lapkus and Mageina Tovah are two different people. . . (it’s those big eyes)

I always forget who this guy is because he doesn’t look like a “Clark Duke” to me. Either I think of Clark Gregg, or the confluence of Michael Clarke Duncan and Bill Duke makes me think “Clark Duke” must be a black actor.

See also Marlon Brando’s “Kryptin” in SUPERMAN. . .

Interesting. My recollection was Tarantino wanted to do CASINO ROYALE with Brosnan, set in the 60s. (Again, pre-Daniel Craig.)

I have this. I like this. Good little speaker.

Munn was shockingly good on the very flawed THE NEWSROOM. She was really, really good at Sorkinese.

Also, Munn is obviously/usually an attractive woman but she GLOWS in the trailer for this thing. I might have to watch it just for that reason. . .

I still don’t buy it. Mike saw there was only one guy left in the truck. If Saul had ditched the bags, Mike would have only had to wait maybe another 30 seconds. The driver would have gotten out of the car to grab the cash, giving Mike would have had a much easier shot at a basically stationary target, and then he and

That made me crazy. Either Mike or Saul should have been smart enough to plan it so the could get the would-be thief’s car. If Saul dropped the money bags once he was “spotted” and ran off the road, the driver would have absolutely stopped the car to grab the loot. Then Mike could have picked him off fairly easily,

Being carbon frozen adds 20 pounds. . . who knew?

There was a period in the mid-1980s when JEDI was seen by many as better than EMPIRE. I won’t claim it was a unanimous consensus, obviously, but there was a feeling that EMPIRE’s darkness and lack of conclusive ending were bettered by JEDI’s jawdropping setpieces and satisfying conclusion.

His helmet is DUSTY, too. After previously always being at a highly buffed shine. Definitely a team effort across all the departments. . .

No, but I think it’s the first time we’ve actually seen her in a scene with Gus in either show.
