“Actually playing” is a nothing statement because what constitutes “actual play” varies from person to person. These runners have “actually played” OoT plenty. They know it backwards and forwards, far better than any of us.

Maybe Red Bison would’ve helped him win.
Sure, but if it’s an OS-level solution, devs can just reference “Button 1" and have the data updated. Seems like a pretty simple solution.
Ditto! Better yet, all consoles should have a button remapping feature in the OS.

Just for the sake of disclosure, I had also considered:
Dexterity, skill, tactics....
True, but the blue spots actively take away points from the other team. I’m not saying it’s not at all worth doing, I’m just saying it doesn’t make sense to look at the map and say “That’s why they lost.”
The problem is the time spent covering the spawn could have also been spent taking turf back from the enemy which would not only boost your own score but lower theirs. That’s not to say it completely isn’t worth doing, but it’s not like it’s the sole reason they lost.

Wow. So first, this looks awesome for an “8-bit” game, but I JUST finished animating a modern 2D ZS Samus yesterday:
To be fair by the second arc the treatment of characters like Asuna goes way down into sexist territories. By the end of the first arc nearly every female supporting character in the show is in love with Kirito in some fashion and lack any initiative outside of that.
Man this game is going to be fucking weird.
