Return of the Jedi isn’t bad for redeeming Darth. His redemption was part of the story. If it seems flawed after seeing Episode 4 and 5, then perhaps Vader in episode 4 and 5 should have been rewritten to better align with his intended story arc.

Games could move slowly to that point, but if all games made the switch today, I don’t think the reaction from gamers would be overly positive.

I try to be unbiased. But when I see Google announce a new device (Pixel, Chromecast, Nexus phone/tablet) most of it just seems to be what I want. Not all of it though, they have their downsides (lack of SD for example).

I liked it a lot! I could see this setting being used in a realistic Zelda TV series. It isn’t Blockbuster movie/game quality, but for a weekly series it is great.
