Her dead body was, for me, the worst part of the movie. I felt that they needed to give SOME sort of heads up.
So I did watch that doc, even though I guess I shouldn’t have. At one point they show her body, as it had fallen out of the car during the crash. THAT is what haunts from this ..... the lifeless expression on her face. It reminded me of the look on the face of Ray Brower in Stand by Me. Completely lifeless.

I felt the SAME way. Like, “Wait.....this is bad?” Until the final scene where Mark speaks of the phone call between he and Bonnie - I wasn’t sure where this was going.
Echoing here - a fire dependent ecosystem needs to be tended to.
I thought the Finley/Sophie pairing made a lot of sense - but the decisions that Finley made were really sound. I hope that with 10 episodes that they work out more on the new characters.
