Someone’s jumping the sharks around the Island of Dr. Moreau.

I’ve always liked Temple of Doom. I know, I know, it’s got some glaring flaws, but it has a different flow than the others in the series and I appreciated that its mystery/antagonists were different from Lost Ark (my favorite) and Crusade (close to my favorite, despite being a rehash of Lost Ark in many ways).

“Yea. We can’t deny this shit anymore.”

The posters are great, but the original is seriously one of the best posters of the ‘80s. Right up there with Back to the Future.

Goddamit. I read this wrong at first and now all I want is a Stark-Doctor Who crossover. Tardis-Jarvis?

Yea. I mean I get what your saying. From my (limited) understanding, marijuana isn’t addictive, but I can see it becoming habit forming — I’m not addicted to Oreos, but I eat the fuck out of them. Which just makes me wonder why a guy who’s been in trouble for this before and has to have a clear understanding that he’s

Really? Just don’t smoke. I have nothing morally against it. It would solve a lot of problems (add a few others — but let’s look at the scales) in the country. But if your job doesn’t want you to do it, don’t. You know you’re going to be tested. And I’d guess he gets it more than others because of his history. So just

I only caught the end of the pizza one at first and totally thought Pizza Rat got a temp job in an office.

I’m pretty sure that’s what God was telling these people. Then he got back to his day job of assisting athletes to victory while forgetting he left the oven on in the Middle East.

I appreciate that he can just say I made a mistake. Honestly, we’re at the point where every. single. frame. of every piece of pop culture is scrutinized like the Zapruder film. Sometimes there’s an unintended fuckup in editing that no one catches. It happens pretty much in every movie you watch.

Goddam, now I want M&Ms.

I’m on the 5th of the 10 main Malazan books. Any know if the stories by Esselmont worth reading? The main entires are just so damn long, it feels like homework to think there are other books set in the same timeframe.

I’m mostly agreeing with this. What’s gone wrong post-Book 3 has been discussed ad nauseum: too many POVs, too much focus on uninteresting POVs, excess all over and that little issue of a sluggish writer. Still, I love the universe and found a lot to like in Dance with Dragons. That’s partly the reason why I’ve made

Chip Kelly, you know you’re not welcome in comment sections.

It doesn’t seem nearly as bad as the FC4 eagle problem. There’s a mission where you collect eagle feathers from a perch on top of a cliff, and you can expect those fuckers to come flying fast and furious, but it’s not a huge issue this time around.

No such ability, not that it’s really diminished my enjoyment of the game. Probably a little better than I was expecting, to be honest. But to your point, FPS games in general seem to have a lot of trouble creating engaging and realistic melee combat (Looking at you, Skyrim, who I deeply, deeply love). I’m sure there

Can any of ‘em throw? Pirates could use some help on the back end of the rotation.

Video is blocked. I just starred as a tip of the cap to the user name. Steeler fan here.

Some of the defendants might enjoy that.

Disney should do a live-action Great Mouse Detective with Guy Ritchie directing and Mickey Rourke as the lead.
