No thread is the correct one for that.
I've always known I'm going to get arthritis someday. Runs deep in the family.
OK I was slightly amused there. Still not laugh out loud funny, but that makes sense given I'm watching out of context.
OK now I know why people hate me. I crack my knuckles. This is what it sounds like to an outside observer??
I don't think so.
Maybe I'd give it another chance someday, but it's way down the list. My to-watch list is straight up unwieldy.
I just said I could tell when they wanted me to laugh! And that I WANT shows to be funny!
I am evangelical about Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, and Kimmy Schmidt. I love Futurama, Broad City, Nathan For You, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Bojack Horseman.
I could tell when they wanted me to laugh. It wasn't funny.
Was it ever?
The videos I watched just a little bit of seem to back up your claim. Very generic pleasant-looking instagrammy shit. Like their guiding mantra is just the word "inoffensive".
I've just started a reread of The Handmaid's Tale in anticipation of the new show, and I really forgot just how fucked up it is. (Last time I read it was about 10 years ago.)
Well, I of course meant to exclude JoeCappy69. That goes unsaid.
I mean, many have. Just swap out VHS for 8mm and that's Sinister. Which I really liked, too.
I would understand if it was over very niche things, catered to a niche audience. But I watched the Thor trailer and all the recommended vids on the side are of reaction videos! Like, shouldn't it be other trailers for sci-fi or comic-book movies?
https://youtu.be/oJe-ixBf8ZE (I still miss this show)
I am unwilling to do the research needed, but Instagram's consumer-whore culture may have Youtube's beat.
Same! Aren't we great????
