Newswires, and especially GJI's, are often like 3 days late.

Anecdotal evidence: I read the site for many years before I began commenting. I would read the article straight through all the comments on most items. The comments were absolutely part of the draw.

In honesty, I think it looks fine on the right people. It coming into fashion, however, has meant many people are trying this look who just shouldn't. And I think if you get this cut you have to make an effort not to look like Hitler Youth.
