Downton Abbey on Europa?

HBO shouldn’t try to force a second season, but if the creators think they have The Right Idea for a second season, fuck yeah. Given this first season (which didn’t sound like a good idea when it was first announced) I’m willing to trust the creatives if they announce they have a fresh 8-10 episode idea to explore.

None of the things with Anakin were misteps on their own. Having Anakin start as a child was fine, having Anakin act entitled and whiny was fine. It was the dialogue and the acting that effed it up. Adam Driver’s portrayal of Kylo Ren is EXACTLY how Anakin should have been acted in the prequels. 

Yeah, bullshit. The film defames a real person by presenting her as getting an FBI leak by fucking an FBI agent. Eastwood has always been a misogynistic  douchebag but he generally saved that for his fictional women, not actual ones.

I feel like ultimately that if Eastwood wasn’t casting an absurd narrative on its deceased reporter, this whole thing might have been avoided. But he decided that’s how women get things in the world because reasons, so here we are.

Lady Trieu also mentions in her clock speech how she developed rockets a decade ago and her father will be there when she starts the clock. Veidt is totally her father and what came crashing down to earth in Episode 4 is actually happening “tonight” as Jon is taken by the 7K.

My order of reasons why I’m excited for this movie from high to low

I don’t think a finished Zack Snyder film would be better than an unfinished Joss Whedon film.

No matter how bad it may be (and it would probably be pretty bad based off the ol’ track record) I genuinely think the Snyder fans would go out en masse and buy it. However, I don’t think that’s enough people to warrant the cost that would go into completing another third of the movie. 

This same contingent of fans think Batman v Superman was some kind of masterpiece that is unfairly shit on so... yes. I agree. Let’s all just move on. The Snyder Cut would, most likely, be pretty terrible if it did in fact exist.

I actually don’t think an unfinished film by Zach Snyder would be better than a finished one by Joss Whedon. Hell, I don’t think a finished film by Snyder would be better than one by Whedon.

The new WandaVision show has Kat Dennings as Darcy AND Kathryn Hahn in an unspecified role (possibly Agatha Harkness) and Elizabeth Olson apparently really unleashing Scarlet Witch’s reality-bending powers ... it is the Disney + thing so far that I am most excited about

He should bring in that one actor he likes to work with. What’s his name? The guy who he cast as Happy, and the Chef, and the pediatrician in Elf. I like him.

Jesus dude, they're lightsabers. They work however Filoni wants them to.
