The US military doesn’t need to send personnel to fill sandbags. The prisoners also shouldn’t be made to fill them. People should have evacuated by now, and if they chose to stay then they should fill their own damn sandbags.

I feel your pain. I left my blue collar job to return to college a few years ago and earned an accounting degree, graduated with honors, the whole nine yards. Couldn’t find a job. Never one to feel disgruntled, I simply applied for a graduate program in accounting and started working on that while I applied for jobs.

My sister didn’t tell anyone. She and her husband kept it an evil little secret, and didn’t say a damn word. When she started to show, they acted like nothing was going on until people literally had to break all rules of social etiquette and literally ask her “are you pregnant?” But then again, they are both Juggalos

Thanks for the input- I don’t live near any large cities. The mid-sized city I do live near is a difficult grind, because the wages for all industries located in and around it are held down by the University, who employs the majority of workers and pays quite low. Hopefully I will be able to expand my radius for job
