Still ongoing during Biden’s time as VP. Egypt. Honduras. Bolivia. Haiti.

I wonder if you can measure the collective “ooooohhhhhh he almost gets it” on a seismometer.

Forcing white male executives to do...what exactly? I thought the whole point of being a white male executive was that you couldn’t be forced to do something. I don’t understand - you can’t be infallible titans of industry who deserve to run the world because your white penis makes you special and God-like AND be

“...it’s very difficult in this cancel society to have a frank discussion about racism in this country and this country’s history...”

How about this gem from Biden:

This is still the greatest country that’s ever, ever been in the history of the world,” he said. “And the radical left is trying to destroy that and tear us apart and divide this country based on race and class, which is exactly what they do in communist countries.

I was asking myself after reading this: why do conservatives love pitching fits about these kinds of poorly-defined fake non-issues so much? I hear this stuff from boomer relatives constantly, and it’s always so brain-breakingly inane… There are any number of real, concrete progressive or liberal movements and

Republicans and Democrats simply don’t do the politics the same way. Republican politicians have bred a class of voter that votes religiously, but doesn’t read, do their own research, or think critically; doesn’t care about whether policies benefit them (so long as they hurt the people who they’ve been told are their

It’s incredible how effective of a lightning rod this is. A Karen on my local Nextdoor put up a post about it and a discussion that would take place at a school council meeting. Amidst all of the outrage, the blustering Trumpians couldn’t define what CRT was, or even why it was bad, other than the vaguest notion that

Maybe public education has gotten better since I’ve gone but in my experience my K-12 education in history was like 80% 1620-1800 and maybe 20% 1801-present. I’ve learned more about WW2 from documentaries than I ever did in school.

It’s a mix of conservative parent panic (like the panics they had over day-care and “satanic rituals” years ago) and conservative activists launching a counter-attack against Black Lives Matter and the rise of diversity and anti-racism training after the George Floyd protests.

DeathSantis here in Florida thinks that CRT teaches kids “to hate their country and hate each other.” None of these stunt queens know how to attack CRT with specifics because they know they don’t have to. Even if someone isn’t a captive audience for Fox News and is only vaguely aware of anything at any time, they’ll

Republicans love Israel but man, do they hate Jews.

“It happened...”  Didn’t the GOP go after someone else for saying something like this?  Hmmmm, whoever could it have been, let me think.....

Where she grew up it may have been referred to as the “War of Jewish Aggression”.

She didn’t clear shit - the fact that she was willing to compare Democratic Party agendas and goals to the horrors of the Holocaust at ALL, including comparisons between “oppressed” conservatives and actual victims of Nazi genocide, shows that this isn’t anything she didn’t already know or try to deny happened - she’s

I’m sure she did, but she’s in favor of that snowball.

As someone who lost family in the Holocaust, I cannot even begin to express how insulting it is that this pathetic excuse for a human being was allowed to set foot in that museum. People like her view a holocaust museum with the same eyes as the Third Reich was viewing the Museum of the Extinct Race.

“In conclusion, Nazi Germany was a land of contrasts.”
