We wouldn’t have these issues if we had an actual national plan and procedure to inject everyone in the country.
Yeah, that’s how I’m seeing it. If the choice is somebody, anybody, getting the vaccine by chance or it’s garbage...use that shit. The more people getting vaccinated, the better. Obviously, assholes using money\connections for preferential treatment should be put in stocks in the public square and pelted with animal…
Happenstance is different than active planning. Your friend of a friend’s friend didn’t plan on getting the shot, they just happened to be there at the right time and if they didn’t get the shot it probably would have gone to waste. Better somebody get it rather than it being trashed. There’s no moral question there.…
Koch in particular can kiss my large lady rump. He’s been backing precisely this shit since before Reagan and offering sops to PBS as a cynical fuck you gift to “make up” for it.
Let’s not pretend this was an organic uprising, though.
Journalists helped create this lie by focusing on diners, truckers, and giving their subjects folksy names like “Joe the plumber”. They helped create the folksy category that admits white working class people only.
I’m choosing to believe that he wanted to go to the Alamo because a fortune teller told him he could find the missing Trump votes in the basement.
I’m with you. Plus regulated work places and a minimum wage for those AG workers.
A palm reader told him all the missing ballots are in the basement of the Alamo.
The USA has always relied upon cheap immigrant labor. There is a critical shortage of low wage workers in the country now. Biden should consider bestowing that job dignity on the undocumented working now. We can’t deport 10 or 20 million workers without collapsing the economy. Anyone working a job in the nation is…
Hope springs eternal for all, but over here I’m hoping we’re witnessing the end of the Republican party.
All this confusion over Alamo TX / The Alamo seems to be obscuring the irony of using the Alamo as any kind of political backdrop because of, you know, what happened at the Alamo.
The fact that he didn’t tell Alamo, Texas that he was coming is an issue though. And it’s ridiculously possible that he told people he wanted to go to “The Alamo”, San Antonio officials said to fuck off, and so they took him to Alamo, Texas instead.
The past four years have made it really clear that the republicans and conservatives in general don’t have any values beyond being in power, and they assume their supporters are so dumb they won’t notice how often they contradict themselves.
We know they are full of shit, and — more importantly — they know they are full of shit.
The time for unity was before they inspired armed sedition. Now is the time for retribution and severe consequences. Or, to put it in terms they’ll understand: fuck their feelings.
Healing the divide is codeword for “we keep going right, so it would be really convenient if you followed us.”
Fuck that noise. The attack on the Capitol was from their side of the aisle. This attack was populated by people that believe Qanon’s lies that all politicians are satanic peadophiles that eat children. Why…
Hermann Göring - May 8th, 1945 - Guys, come on, now isn’t the time for divisive rhetoric and pointing fingers. We should all come together as a world to heal and unite.
“Healing” and “unity” to the GOP means Ignore our crimes and don’t seek repercussions. Oh, and If you don’t call us hypocrites when we accuse you of hating America In a few months, that would be cool too.
