It sure seems like more women than men are defending him right now, but that may just be media bias (although there are women in the comments section of these articles defending him as well). I think his behavior and general lack of real remorse are sickening (as are all those people leaping to defend him). Overall,

I thought that was a rather mild assessment.

You now must take over Rafi’s job, per Feinberg’s rules of ascension.

Take your star, you bastard.

Just to add to your comment, “warm, tactile” people (in my experience) completely miss the micro-expressions (and even macro) of someone who is uncomfortable being touched. I can full on cringe and people don’t notice it (or they think it’s fucking funny and touch me all the more).

As someone who has social anxiety and hates being touched, that kind of shit bothers the fuck out of me. Like, sorry, you’re not entitled to my body or my personal space just because you don’t have issues with touching.

I have social anxiety and hate to be touched (I will likely visibly cringe when someone puts their hands on me). Fortunately, for me, I’m a dude and mostly get unwanted backslaps or whatever. The rhetoric is quickly approaching the definition of radicalization.

Dudebra, upthread, nailed it with “bourgeois mediocrity”.

It’s totally nonsensical. A distinction without a difference. And it’s not like it would make a difference with critics if you changed every statement to say “the actions of Israel” - they’d still call you antisemitic.

I’d prefer we shot him out of the solar system, entirely, but then there’s always the chance an alien race would find him and consider it an act of war.

It’s a common tactic for right-wingers to buy up massive quantities of a right-winger’s book to increase its rating/profile/whatever. The same technique that $cientologists use.

It’s a common misconception that California is some liberal paradise. The cities - where most of the population lives - are generally liberal, but the countryside (particularly up north) has a lot of republicans.

Between the “Look at the full video!” comments and the “Adults put them up to this!” comments, of which there are many on every fucking article about this incident, combined with the uniformity of said comments, this is really starting to look like a directed smear campaign. On children. These assholes should be

It’s just “erosion”! Perfectly natural!
