I too had a boxy ‘89... the four cylinder was a dog, but damn, there’s not a day that goes by where I don’t miss that truck. The small swing-away side door was ideal for sticker placement too. That truck was the definition of spartan, my wife (then girlfriend) and I still lament over that beast of a box.
