I am all for this, but with a caveat for four-lane shared median rural highways (of which my commute consists largely of)... When traveling on such, I usually stick to the left lane almost exclusively - my reason being: wildlife and idiots who pull out onto the road directly from their driveway. Being in the left lane

I do 100 miles every day to and from work, so it’s mostly highway for me too - I guess that’s where some of the feelings originate. Keep your charger/300 - it is of no interest to me.

NO, and I haven’t been cited for any sort of offense (traffic or otherwise) for more than 20 years... but I stand by my assessment that the effect civilians driving around in these cars has on the general driving public at large is profound.

RIGHT - that’s exactly what I mean.

OH I know, but the “damage” has already been done.

NO ONE BUYS THESE CARS FOR HANDLING!

PREACH!

NO.

CP - there’s an extra zero in that price... must’ve been a typo.

Agreed, a green with tan combo would make this borderline “what, that... it’s in my driveway already” territory.

Cool color = check

I am consistently amazed with sites like BAT.

AND ONE INTERNET Star for your username my friend.

AHH very true...

The underlying point = with that much lux-o-barge wrapped into the car, it would be a shame to get it only to have to sink a bunch more green into it should the batteries cease to hold adequate charge. There’s A LOT of car there, so you’re taking a lot of risk if those batteries are about to go kaput.

I wonder how much it cost to get them replaced - or did they just replace the car instead?

That thing about mass of a ton.

CP - show me that the batteries are good for another 100K and maybe, but not until. NOW, take $10k off the price and I’ll buy it in a hot minute because I’ve always had a soft spot for that body style - retirement-spec beige or not.

you’re right, but the low-hanging fruit was just so low... SO LOW...
