Agreed 100%. Instead, we live in a world where Scream Queens gets a second season because 7-day ratings make it a hit with #teens. I'm still amazed it got 3 seasons, but all the networks were starved for ratings in those years so launching new projects was more costly than keeping the current stuff alive.

I was very pleased with Krampus. A little sillier than I was anticipating, but now that I know what kind of tone they were going for, repeat viewings (annually, perhaps) will be a lot of fun.
