So atheism means you're most likely to be a pessimist? I imagine that depends on how big of a role religion played in your life before you became an atheist. I'm an atheist and although I've had bouts of depression most of my adult life, I'd like to think that the reason I'm able to eventually snap out of it is

I look away before the needle even comes out, close my eyes and take long deep breaths (in through the nose, out of the mouth) all the way through until they are done.

It's always great to hear an actress talk like a real person instead of giving some answer that their stylist or publicist thought up.

That church sign makes my day!

Right on! I read the Slate article and came away feeling totally perplexed. I didn't know that handshaking anxiety was a thing much less anxiety about handshaking between genders. If I had wrote that article, I would have told the letter writer to get out of his head and just act like a normal person! Geez.

Why can't they just leave the women authors on the American Novelists list and then create another list with just women authors for those who are interested in reading and discovering women writers?

I might pass out from excitement before the new season (FINALLY!) premieres! Shortness of breath, heart palpitations, blurry vision and . . . . . . . (thump).

Well said! You should really save your comment to your computer so you can copy and paste it to any and all articles regarding perceived inequality thrust on old white dudes or dudes in general. I'm serious. Bravo!

Let's keep this momentum going. A great step!

I'm gonna see this movie so HARD!

I just want to squeeze his squishy face so hard! (but in a good way!)

Totally. Best ending ever! Obviously I haven't seen Before Midnight yet but I suspect that Before Sunset will still be the best of the bunch. I hope I'm wrong :)

Agreed. While I really want to see the new movie, I'm afraid that they're gonna fuck it up and I don't think I will handle it well AT ALL! I don't like to read spoilers but this film might be the exception.

You've seen Before Sunset too right? Just as awesome as Before Sunrise. Can't wait for this movie to come out!!!

I'm 35 and not married and when I was younger I always thought of marriage as something that would probably happen at some point or that I should get married but I can't recall marriage ever being something that I actually wanted to do. Now, I don't feel like I should get married. I don't feel like it's a necessity in

I'm giving Downton Abbey one more chance to get it together next season. Loved season 1, season 2 had one or two moments but was overall ridiculous. If/when Maggie Smith leaves, I'M OUT.

I'm probably not going to get married (which is cool with me) but if I do, I wanna marry Thom Yorke!
