As a tangent, can people stop using the word rape as suffix for any kind of personal intrusion? Space-rape comes to mind. The more diffused the word becomes the less bad it sounds

The brew women in this town have been livid all day. I'm so happy to see this front page. We are all aghast.

Fine. I've created a beer called Advanced Prostate Cancer. It's so good, it makes men cry. Har dee har har har.

Maybe some of us are ~so sensitive~ because we've had our mouths raped??? Fucking a. 1 in 6 women (in the US) has been raped vs 1 in 33 men. Like please go on about how this is ~just like murder~

When I read about men like this who don't (or won't) understand this shit, I always fantasize about creating a TV series ala "Cheaters," where as host I get to track down their mothers, drag them to the barstool where their sons are loutishly opining, and film the mothers slapping their idiot sons upside the head and

Can we all universally agree that the word "rape" should only be used in its proper, technical context and not provocatively or in jest?

This is very tangentially related (as rape and sex have very little to do with each other) but I just got back from a brewery with A HOST of tongue-in-cheek names for their beers and none of them managed to be horrible and offensive. Perhaps instead of trying to shock everyone with horrible shit people should try to

As a female Hophead, I find this absolutely disgusting. I'm lucky to live in a community where beer is important, and women are a huge part of the craft beer market. I know various people who own/run breweries in this area, and I can guarantee not one of them would ever release a product with such a horrifying name.

"Is assassination, murder, and assault less serious than rape?"

"Rape is a violent crime no doubt. I think you can find a shitload of other beer names (esp IPAs) that refer to murder, assassination, assault, etc. Do you think these are less serious crimes? Are you just overly sensitive to sexual provocation?"

(we call them invoices in the biz)

sorry Burt, but this dress was better

Agreed. She was trying so hard to do things right but she's got a lot to overcome. The teen dad always made me angry. He seemed to use custody as a way to manipulate her and when he did have the kid he'd go out and leave the kid with his parents.

I don't know how to say this without sounding weird but look at Lupita's awesome body. Makes me want to run to the gym.

For real. resplendent.stepson's mom was kind of passive-aggressive about the holidays, but Brandi Glanville reminds that comparatively speaking, I've hit the goddamn lottery.

Brandi Glanville, LeAnn Rimes, and Eddie Cibrian are locked permanently in a three-way battle for who makes me feel the most sorry for the associated children. There's plenty of awful to go around in that family.

Fine, I'm from Beijing, and I concur with the above.

On my most recent flight, I was on the plane with a basketball team. I'm 5'4, so I don't need much space, but the two basketball players on their side of me kept apologizing for their legs. It was unnecessary, but a pleasant surprise that people were being so considerate. Then I got sad that people being

She gets hate mail for this? I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore. I mean, it's not like this isn't an entirely true thing. On the buses at my university the guys took up way more than their fair share of space while the women curled up like hedgehogs. I was sitting on the back bench seat once and ended up
