Holy shit, is that true?! I also thought it was insane for the goalposts to be in the middle of the fucking field, but it’s even more insane that there are recurring INJURIES because of them and they won’t move them! What???

I was once a part of this world, and “state-of-the-art” isn’t quite how I’d describe the equipment provided to us with conference money. You be surprised how much the most random, yet necessary and sometimes exorbitantly expensive gear it takes to build a control room, replace video boards, pay staff, etc. $7 mil is a…
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is an excellent example of a comedy like this!
That’s crazy. They desperately need 10-episode seasons, maybe even 8. This season could have gone from mildly infuriating to genuinely great if it hadn’t meandered for so long.
Thank you for reminding me of this work of art.
This fucking creepazoid and literal neckbeard gets paid good money to publish thirsty manifestos on the pages of the New York Times. It’s fucking nuts, man.
Wow, I completely forgot about Invesco. What a putrid name.
Beautiful. As a Broncos lifer, this got me right in the feels.
I honestly talked myself out of the set-up twist. I thought maaaybe Serena is too surprised and distraught for this to have been some kind of plot. And that it would be too obvious...maybe I am expecting too much subtlety from a not-so-subtle show.
My first thought, without having watched even half the episode, is that this would have made so much more sense as an episode four or five. Why is this kicking off the final stretch of the season when we desperately needed a tone shift and some momentum so much earlier? It’s taken so long to get here, and it makes the…
Ah, gotcha. I figured there was no way they didn't do this on purpose. Thanks for the explanation! Though I agree, they probably should've deviated here.
It seems there might be some inside joke to explain the weird direction of the video? I don’t understand it, but I think that’s what I’ve seen on Twitter. It’s still dumb, though.
I was a little more forgiving of this episode, but the Serena/June choreography was just ridiculous.
1. I’ve never felt a headline so hard. It’s perfect.
I thought the same thing, ESPECIALLY when NK’s accent slipped a ton in the best scene(s) I’ve ever seen her in last season. It would be completely believable that she’s an Aussie expat living in California...just let the accent fly!
OMG! That Sunny episode is one of my favorites!
Every time I see him I’m like, “SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A HAIRCUT”
Yeah unfortunately Zoe Kravitz is just a little too acty for me, a little unnatural.
Does anyone think this episode felt like it was trying too hard? Like, the show has always had an undercurrent of soapy camp, but I feel like they laid it on a little thick this episode. The dialogue was laughable at times, and the moodiness felt hackneyed and silly compared to the first season.
Thank you. I’d forgotten how heavy-handed this show can be.
