That’s heartbreaking. Vox (the Ezra Klein show) just posted an incredibly informative interview with Mehrsa Baradaran, who was very clear and thorough in explaining the psychological, physical and emotional toll that being poor has on people of color. It’s fascinating, but really depressing.
