What kind of system? I have btsync and plex running on a Linux system, and I set up a folder in btsync where a filewatcher (inotify) moves any added files into another folder on the system (which removes it from btsyncs view). I use it to add new media to my plex libraries. Is that the ieda you’re looking for?
