Are people really so addicted to their phones that they can’t just put them down for a duration of a drive—that they need an intervention? If it saves lives, fine. Good. I still think it’s ridiculous.

I toured the USS Iowa while I was out visiting LA. It took me a while but eventually I realized they had just globbed paint over all of the asbestos lining everything. maybe there was more to it, but it was obviously asbestos with something over it.
